Busy Month for Gina Barreca

In June, Barreca received an honorary degree from Charter Oak State College, where she was the graduation speaker, gave the graduation speech at the Lincoln School in Providence, RI., gave the opening night dinner talk at the Women’s Campaign School at Yale (for the fourteenth year in a row) and was the keynote speaker at the UMass Lowell Women’s Leadership Conference. Her weekly columns for the Tribune are increasing in circulation and now appear on a regular basis in newspapers around the world and her blog for Psychology Today has garnered well over 4 million views. This month, Gina was recognized as UConn’s first Engagement Fellow for the academic year 2016-2017.
