Specialization: Eighteenth-Century Literature

Interests: My academic interests (so far) include eighteenth-century everything but especially nationalism, imperialism, 1707 Act of Union, art/architecture intersections with literature, Defoe, Burney.  Also some Shakespeare and Austen mixed in for good measure.  Here at UConn, I’m involved in EGSA and the 18th Century Reading Group, but when I’m not being diligently academic, I’m watching Yankees and/or Huskies, drinking tea, or hanging around with jovial UConn friends.
