Specialization: Medieval and Renaissance Literature

Interests: I am particularly interested in religious literature and the intersections of theology and poetics during and immediately following the Reformation.  Other academic interests include science/technology and literature, popular/genre literature (especially science fiction), theories of adaptation, pedagogy, and the relationship between technology and writing. I earned my BA in English at Biola University, with a minor in religious studies. My non-academic interests include ultimate frisbee, cooking, sudoku, and an often ridiculous obsession with sci-fi television shows.
