Heon Jeon is an Assistant Professor in Residence of English at UConn. His research interest is Second Language Writing. Specifically, Heon is interested in exploring the nature of learning transfer in writing instruction such as English for Academic Purposes/First Year Writing Program. He is also interested in innovating feedback practices through technology-mediated feedback such as screencast video feedback. His research has been published in RELC Journal and Journal of Response to Writing. He has regularly presented his research on Second Language Writing at well-known conferences such as Symposium on Second Language Writing and AAAL.
