We would like to congratulate Alex Gatten ’21 (CLAS, Ph.D.), who has just accepted a new position as an Instructional Designer at Rutgers University. Alex has been a vital member of the UConn English community as the Associate Director of First Year Writing. In his new role, he will be working with the Master of Social Work and Bachelor of Social Work programs in their School of Social Work. We would also like to extend our praise to Alex’s dissertation committee: Charles Mahoney, Major Advisor, and Margaret Breen and Yohei Igarashi, Associate Advisors.
