English Professor and UConn Humanities Institute (UCHI) Director Anna Mae Duane introduced a symposium featured in UConn Today that explored disciplinary and cultural differences in discussions about Artificial Intelligence and Large Language Models. This symposium was part of a larger UCHI project titled “Reading Between the Lines: An Interdisciplinary Glossary for Human-Centered AI.” which is funded by a grant from the Consortium of Humanities Centers and Institutes. The purpose of this project is to expand the conversations around AI beyond American perspectives.
